ABOUT OUR MANAGING ATTORNEY
Sheryl Dennis Wright is an Attorney at Law with over 13 years’ experience at the Bar. She has been engaged as Tutor/Adjunct Lecturer in Property and business law in a number of institutions for several years where she has taught locally and regionally. Having distinguished herself in the health policy landscape regionally, Sheryl has also lectured in health-related law including courses organized/supported by inter-governmental bodies and regional organs such as the Caribbean Court of Justice Academy for Law. Her expertise and knack for empowering individuals at various levels, has allowed her to participate in capacity building in a range of matters concerning health policy development in the Caribbean, Asia, North and South America, Europe, the Middle East and Australia. She has contributed to the development of a number of regional publications in health law and is a member of the Steering Committee of the Caribbean Public Health Law Forum. Sheryl has been engaged by the Pan American Health Organization as an International Consultant, providing technical support to the Caribbean subregion on matters related to Health Law and Regulation. Apart from extensive experience in health law, property and commercial law, Sheryl has extensive experience and training in labour, employment relations and family law and has provided representation locally before the courts and tribunals. Sheryl is also a certified Project Manager and holds a Master of Laws, with specialization in Commercial and Corporate Law and International Dispute Resolution, Post Graduate Certificate in Laws with Specialization in Public International Law. As a former Youth ambassador for Jamaica, Sheryl is passionate about nation-building. Mindful of her humble beginnings, clients are often drawn to her humility, compassion and commitment to providing innovative legal solutions, tailored to their needs and objectives. She considers her integrity and perseverance the hallmarks of her character.
